A targeted advertising method where your ad is only displayed when a potential buyer’s current online viewing matches keywords you select in advance, usually by bid. Pay per view ads generally appear in the form of a pop-up or pop-under, and for which you only incur a cost per view.
Example: You bid $2.00 for the keyword “working from home.” Then, when a potential buyer is viewing something related to working from home, and if no other bid exceeds yours, then your ad is displayed and you are charged for that view (regardless of whether they click or take any action on your ad or not).
